James Rogers

Born and raised in Tifton, Georgia, Mr. Rogers attended the University of Georgia, obtaining dual Bachelor's Degrees in Religion and Political Science. He then moved north and attended John Marshall Law School in Chicago, IL. Weary of the cold weather and ready to come back home, Mr. Rogers returned to Georgia in 2005 and began practicing law in Atlanta.  

Starting in 2007, Mr. Rogers joined the Public Defender's Office in Barrow County. Following a successful seven years in Barrow, he then transferred to the Tifton Circuit to continue his work in indigent defense. After ten years representing criminal defendants in the public sector, Mr. Rogers recently made the transition into private practice.  

During his years with the Public Defenders' Offices, Mr. Rogers had the opportunity to take many cases to trial, including DUI, drug possession, sex crimes, and murder. Winning more than he lost, he is ready to put his skills to work for you. Contact him today.
